Wladimir Klitschko More Convincing This Time With Sam Peter

News

Wladimir Klitschko proved he’s not the same fighter he was in 2005.

Sam Peter was able to put Wladimir Klitschko down three times in their first fight and although Peter lost, he gave Wladimir the toughest challenge he would face for the next five years.

There was no question the second time around as Wladimir punished Sam Peter for nine rounds before stepping on the gas in the tenth. Wladimir abandoned his thudding jab for combinations and Peter was in trouble. The referee stepped in to stop the bout just as Peter crumbled to the canvas, giving Wladimir Klitschko the 10th round TKO victory. Wladimir was unmarked in the bout but Peter had prevalent swelling above his right eye.
