Strikeforce signs Josh Barnett

News

Strikeforce has signed thirty-two year old heavyweight Josh Barnett to a multi-fight detail. Barnett is at 26-5 having fought in all other major promotions including UFC, Affliction, Dream, Pride and World Victory Road. His career has been dogged by controversy after he twice tested positive for drugs; the first in 2002 causing him to be stripped of the UFC Heavyweight Title and the second in 2009 costing him a chance to face Fedor Emelianenko. He is still appealing the latter test failure, with the issue unresolved after numerous delays.

A Comics Nexus original, Will Cooling has written about comics since 2004 despite the best efforts of the industry to kill his love of the medium. He now spends much of his time over at Inside Fights where he gets to see muscle-bound men beat each up without retcons and summer crossovers.
