WWE has confirmed to Newsday that Matt Hardy was in fact sent home from two shows over the past two weeks. Along with this, he was not at the Smackdown tapings. Making matters worse, his video addressing the injury broke company rules and he’s on thin ice. At first, WWE didn’t want to release Matt due to not wanting TNA to be able to reunite the Hardyz, but now the WWE just don’t care.
