FCW House Show Report for 09.15.2010: NXT Rookies, Lumberjack Match, NXT Season 2 Rookies

Houseshows, Reviews, Shows

FCW came back to the Orlando Armory for the monthly house show on Wednesday Night. Out of all the FCW shows I’ve been to, this was probably the most fun and the loudest crowd show I’ve been to. They were hot for everything, even a boring Shad Gaspard match. Here are the results:

1.Lucky Cannon beat ???(didn’t get his name, looked like a new guy).

2. Xavier Woods and Bobby Dutch beat Jinder Mahal and Jacob Novak

3. Big E Langston beat Rudy Parker

4. Shad Gaspard beat Devin Allen

5. Wes Brisco beat Leo Kruger

6. FCW Tag champs Johnny Curtis and Derrick Bateman beat Brodus Clay and Donny Marlow

7. Idol Stevens beat Roman Leakee

7. FCW Florida Champ Mason Ryan w/Byron Saxton beat Trent Barretta

8 Lumberjack Match: Richie Steamboat beat Michael Mcgillicutty

Notes: Some Gimmick changes were revealed on this show. Big E Langston is doing a Mr. Anderson gimmick where he does his own ring introductions. He’s pretty good at it. Shad Gaspard seems to be a babyface now or at least for this match. According to the Observer, Byron Saxton is now the manager/mouth piece of Mason Ryan. Earlier in the night, Byron came out and challenged anyone for a FCW title show, Trent Barrett accepted.

All the NXT season 3 rookies did ring announcing for the show. Out of all of them, the most entertaining was Kaitlyn. She has a good character and had the crowd and the FCW staff laughing.  Maxine also is the FCW General Manager and after the main, she made a match for the next Orlando show, a 5 on 5 match featuring team Steamboat and Team Mcgillicutty.
