Quenneville lead the Blackhawks to the Stanley Cup last season and got an extension for his efforts.
Joel Quenneville and the Chicago Blackhawks will hold a press confrence Wednesday afternoon to announce the extension. Details of the extension haven’t been announced yet.
Quenville is entering the third year of a four year contract he signed when he took over for Denis Savard in 2008. He has lead the Blackhawks to a record of 97-44-19 in just less than two full seasons.
