Best Worst Movie, the absolutely must-watch documentary about the making of Troll 2, will be available to own on DVD November 16. That date will also mark the availability of the film for digital download.
Michael Paul Stephenson’s documentary follows the cast and crew behind one of the most infamously bad movies to ever be released in America. Staring in the documentary is Dr. George Hardy, an Alabama dentist who clings to his role in Troll 2 with such glee and determination that it becomes admirable. It doesn’t hurt that Dr. Hardy is one of the most likable men you’ll ever have a chance to watch a movie about.
Whether you are a fan of bad movies or just a lover of quality documentaries, Best Worst Movie is a film you need to take the time and seek out. Because if you don’t, you’ll just be pissing on hospitality and I won’t allow that.

A film festival favorite in 2009 and currently playing in theaters nationwide, Best Worst Movie will be released under New Video’s Docurama Films brand.
In this hilarious and heartfelt story about the strange nature of celebrity, a sunny Alabama dentist and a self-deluded Italian filmmaker struggle to come to grips with their role in the worst movie ever made. The DVD and digital release of Best Worst Movie closely follows the Blu-ray release of Troll 2 in October from MGM.
