10 Thoughts on Superstars 09.16.2010 – feat MVP, The Usos, Santino and Tamina’s Sexual Tension

Reviews, TV Shows

Are you ready for a review of all the action-packed awesomeness! …boy, I look forward to a day where I can actually say that and mean it. Here we go!

1. Until tonight, I actually had forgotten about the Usos. And now I’ve really forgotten about them, because they’re both wearing shorts. Now I don’t know who’s who.

2. I love Santino’s humor, but it’s nice to see Kozlov starting this match off, and picking up the win. Most of the time, he falls into Santino’s shadow, but tonight he looked great.

3. This Santino/Tamina angle is just subtle enough that I’m not bored by it yet, and entertaining enough that I laugh out loud. Watching Tamina learn “The Cobra” was a nice touch. Santino sucking her fingertips, was not.

4. When Michael Cole is the most entertaining part of a challenge, it doesn’t need a recap. There were a million things that would have been more suitable, rather than that terrible Joke-Off.

5. I appreciate that the Great Khali is not on Raw lately, but I thought they’d, you know, send him home. Not to Superstars.

6. I used to enjoy when Primo was in a match. But now it means I have to watch his twitchy, over-acting Rookie Diva more.

7. I can’t imagine Jerry Lawler describing Gallows/MVP as a “big match” with a straight face.

8. The video package dedicated to Randy Orton shows they’ve come up with a winning formula for the Viper. He embodies much of the same heel-like characteristics, but sells twice as much merchandise. I daresay he’s going to surpass John Cena soon. *fingers crossed*

9. Luke Gallows has come a long way since his stint as Festus. It’s good to see him on the mic a lot more. There’s not enough real talk (whoa, LayCool moment).

10. This main event was a solid match, but it’s just weird to see MVP pick up the win. Gallow is affiliated with CM Punk, and MVP is kind of in a “barely there” role.
