With UFC 121 fast approaching, it’s only fitting for UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar to be the face and cover-boy of September/October’s edition of UFC Magazine. (Cover Inside!)
Brock Lesnar is the first fighter to grace the cover of UFC Magazine twice, and it’s an even greater feat that he was the UFC Heavyweight Champion both times. With this edition of the magazine being donned “The Heavyweight Issue”, it’s a safe bet that this issue will discuss rising heavyweights in the UFC, as well as main-eventers such as Frank Mir, Junior Dos Santos and of course Brock Lesnar.
When the cover was revealed to Lesnar after a hard workout, all he could say was “Wow”. After staring at it for a bit, he continued, “This is my coolest one yet. It was a huge win for me, coming back from being sick. I took a major ass-whooping in the first round and to come back and seal the deal in the second – I’m very excited. That’s a cool cover. Thanks to the fans and thanks to the UFC.”
