10 Thoughts on WWE Monday Night Raw for 09.20.2010 – Cena vs Barrett and Jericho vs Morrison

Reviews, Shows, Top Story, TV Shows

Welcome once again to another 10 Thoughts on Raw. Tonight we discuss the post-Night of Champions edition of Raw. For more thoughts on the development of the Daniel Bryan and Miz program and some day after thoughts on the Night of Champions show check out itswilltime.wordpress.com.

Now, we think.

1. Orton and Sheamus should be decent inside of Hell in a Cell. Unlike last year when Undertaker and CM Punk were in the cell, this match actually deserves to be in it. Nice work on developing this feud at the right time of year.

2. Nice to see the new Tag Team Champions featured on this show. It was not much, but Rhodes and McIntyre vs The Hart Dynasty could be a nice feud for a month or so.

3. Edge deserves a little more focus in the title picture, but his hunt to find the mystery GM could be nice. Since the GM is now angering the heels on the roster, will he be revealed as a face?

4. And another win over Jericho for John Morrison. This is much better than him being stuck in a program with Ted Dibiase. It seems like there is a story moving forward with Jericho, which hopefully means he is sticking around.

5. Heels with poor excuses for losing are a time honored tradition in wrestling. I’m happy to see The Miz keeping it alive.

6. Daniel Bryan’s new theme music is pretty ridiculous. Will he have new music every month until he gets some decent music? For more on the Miz and Daniel Bryan program, check out itswilltime.wordpress.com.

7. I’m so looking forward to the Chris Jericho DVD. I’m also really excited about Orton vs Jericho next week. If Jericho is leaving, they are doing a good job of giving him some big matches on the way out.

8. Odd message for Ted Dibiase and Maryse. This should be a fun little lower card program starting.

9. I’m disappointed to see Nexus get squashed by John Cena so easily. They put up a fight, but all of them should be taken as threats, not just Barrett.

10. Is the end of Nexus coming up? I would think WWE would try hard to keep the stable alive through Survivor Series, since the show is ready made for a stable in a match, but maybe they don’t see it lasting.
