Bush left Monday night’s game in the fourth quarter with a broken fibula.
The Saints are performing more tests on Reggie Bush’s broken right fibula to determine how long he will be out, but the team is hopefull he’ll be back within 6 weeks.
The fibula is a non-weight bearing bone, so the team just needs to be sure the break is healing and not causing more damage before Bush should be ready to make his return.
Bush was injured in the fourth quarter while trying to recover a muffed punt. The wind was swirling at Candlestick last night and players were having trouble with punts all night.
