Yesterday, I said that ABC was narrowing down the next Bachelor search to either Chris Lambton, who got dumped by Ali before the finale, or Ty Brown, who also got rejected by Ali.
Now it looks like Chris backing out for sure, because he can’t handle all of the crazy stalkers, etc.
Now the frontrunner appears to be Brad Womack. Yes, the same guy that infamously dumped both DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft during the season 11 finale of ABC’s The Bachelor in 2007, and chose no one! Brad is close to signing on for a return engagement.
“Brad is very sincere and believes in the show,” a source close to the series told Us Weekly. “That’s why he didn’t pick someone last time. He was never in it for the publicity. He wants to find a wife.Brad knows he has to open up more,” says the insider. “Last time, he was reserved with the women.”
Ty Brown still seems to be in the running, but since The Bachelor producers love drama, they will likely pick Brad to come back one more time!
