Apparently, although Cena is booed at PPVs, cheered at house shows, and gets mixed reactions at television, meaning fans are willing to hate him, the WWE will not turn him still due to merchandising. With no Jeff Hardy, D-X, and Batista, along with Rey Mysterio being downplayed, he’s the one remaining huge merchandise draw and WWE is unwilling to risk that currently.
