Love left the teams training facility to get an MRI on his swollen right knee.
Timberwolves Center Kevin Love had an MRI on his knee Tuesday and the results showed nothing more than inflamation in the knee. The team said Love will return to practice Wednesday and will only be held out if the swelling returns.
Love averaged 14 points and 11 rebounds last season, but is expected to take on a bigger role down low this season with Al Jefferson getting traded to the Utah Jazz.
After the MRI Love said his knee felt fine and he wasn’t concerned about it going forward.
