The Bulls newly acquired PF will miss theh next few weeks.

Chicago Bulls PF Carlos Boozer has a broken right hand and will undergo surgery to repair the break and will be out at least 8 weeks according to a report from the team.

According to the team report, Boozer was injured on the team’s off day when he tripped over a bag in his house and fell. Boozer broke the 5th metacarpal in his right hand during the fall.

The Bulls signed Boozer to a 5-year $75 million contract this summer after missing out on LeBron James. Boozer averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds last season with the Utah Jazz.
