Ohio State Linebacker Tyler Moeller suffered a torn pectoral muscle in Saturday’s game against Illinois and will have surgery to repair the tear. Moeller will undergo surgery this week.
Moeller led the team with 4.5 tackles for a loss and 2 fumbles forced. He also had 20 total tackles, a sack and an interception.
Moeller is a fifth year senior who was already planning on petitioning for a sixth year of eligibility after missing all of last season after sustaining a head injury as the victim of an assault in a Florida bar.
