NBA News: Sacramento Kings Center Samuel Dalembert Out With Groin Strain

News

Dalembert might miss his first regular season game in 5 years.

The Sacramento Kings announced that Center Samuel Dalembert would be out four-to-six weeks after an MRI revealed a strained left groin.

Dalembert was acquired him last June from the Philadelphia 76ers in a trade for Andres Nocioni and Spencer Hawes.

Dalembert’s injury could create more playing time for rookie DeMarcus Cousins who the Kings’ selected with the fifth overall pick in the draft.
