WWE Smackdown Spoilers for 10/15 with Undertaker, Team Smackdown for Bragging Rights, Rey Mysterio, Big Show

News, Spoilers, Top Story

Rey Mysterio defeated Cody Rhodes to become a member of Team Smackdown.

This is probably both a good match and a good test for Rhodes to see how close he is to being ready for a top spot.

Jack Swagger defeats MVP to join Team Smackdown.

Why not? MVP is enhancement talent at this point. Turn him heel.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Chris Masters to become the fourth member of Team Smackdown.

Rey and Del Rio adds our intrigue to the Smackdown team, but this is still a quite intriguing development as everyone on Smckdown is something of a top guy so far, unlike Team Raw (check out the Wednesday Morning Backlash for more on that, coming at 10am).

Edge defeats Dolph Ziggler and becomes the fifth member.

This is another measuring stick match, as Ziggler could improve his stock with an impressive showing in defeat.

Kaval had to last five minutes with Big Show to be on Team Smackdown, which he did, but then Tyler Reks returned, beat Kaval and took his spot.

Tyler Reks? Really? Are they just trying to piss the ‘net off again?

Kofi Kingston defeated Drew McIntyre to become the final member.

Like we’d get Drew without Cody. Now the tag titles can be defended.

Kane and Paul Bearer hype a Buried Alive match main event for Bragging Rights. This draws out Undertaker who uses his magic to make Kane’s pyro go off and shoots lightning at his brother and former manager.

How do they justify this internally? It’s so far beyond hokey, it’s unreal.
