A few days ago a leaked version of the Scream 4 teaser hit the Internet, prior to its world premiere at the taped Spike TV 2010 Scream Awards. Unfortunately it was shot at an angle and wasn’t the best quality. Lucky for us, a new version is online just as expected.
The higher quality version of the trailer is actually an extended teaser with some more footage and new taglines thrown in.

Yes, it’s updated. Yes, they are actually using the lame “2.0” discussion. Yes, it’s probably your basic Scream movie. But I couldn’t be more excited about it because I’ve been waiting for this film for a long time. There was a time when it appeared as if it wasn’t even going to happen but then Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson seemingly got bored.
By the looks of things, all the bets are off in this one even more so then when Randy (Jamie Kennedy) explained that too us via VHS tape (remember those?) in Scream 3.
Scream 4 will hit theatres on April 15, 2011 and stars Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere.
