Wladimir Klitschko “Haye in the Valeuv fight was like a chicken”

News

Wladimir Klitschko was in the UK to promote his forthcoming fight against Derek Chisora on December 11th and made a special appearance on Sky Sports ‘Ringside‘ boxing magazine programme. He had strong words for the WBA World Champion David Haye, telling the audience that Audley Harrison could knockout Haye, saying that “it could happen…my former sparring partner Monte Barrett knocked him down and David had to get on his knee to recover”. Sarcastically he pleaded with Haye to make sure that this didn’t happen, saying that “I’m begging you, pleeeease don’t get KO’d”.

He also dismissed  Haye’s world title winning performance against Nikolai Valeuv, asking the Sky Sports pundits “did you see the fight with (Nikolai) Valuev? He was like a chicken, dancing around, dancing around, grabbing, scratching, moving back. It was just disgusting”. He also dismissed the efforts of Roy Jones Jr. and Evander Holyfield to talk their way into a world heavyweight title match, saying that at some point in a boxer’s life its time to do something else and that he’ll never fight either boxer.
