Fourth Mission: Impossible Gets a Title

News, Projects

The fourth Mission: Impossible installment looks to be a huge globe-trotting spectacle. With filming taking place in in Dubai and Prague, and Moscow and Vancouver, you knew that simply labeling it M:I 4 wasn’t going to cut it.

Director Brad Bird, executive producer Jeffrey Chernov, producer Bryan Burke, Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner and Paul Patton were on hand at a press conference today inside Buri Khalfi, the world’s tallest tower. There they announced that the film will be entitled Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

The reason for holding the presser in Buri Khalfi was so that they could also reveal that the crew would be shooting in the tower for several days.

Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol hits theaters on December 16, 2011.
