David Lemieux improved to 24-0 (23 KOs) with a first round KO of Hector Camacho Jr. The fight was at the Bell Center in Montreal and was also streamed on ESPN3.com. Hector Camacho Jr is now 52-4-1 (28 KOs) but is nowhere near as good as that record would indicate.
Lemieux wobbled Camacho Jr in the first round. Camacho tried to clinch but Lemieux spun around, gloating with his hands high. Less than ten seconds remained in the round when Lemieux shut Camacho’s lights out with a devastating right. Camacho Jr was out before he hit the canvas. Beautiful knockout for the young middleweight from Canada.
