The Ultimate Fighter 8 Winner Efrain Escudero Signs to Shine Fights

Efrain Escudero, winner of The Ultimate Fighter season 8, signed a multi-fight deal with Shine Fights. The Lightweight Arizona-based fighter was recently let go by the UFC after a 3-2 record in the promotion, with recent wins over Cole Miller and Dan Lauzon.

Shine Fights COO, Jason Chambers, said “I’m very excited to have Efrain sign on with us. I have tremendous confidence in his abilities, and look forward to seeing him make waves in our growing lightweight division.” [h/t MMA Weekly]

Escudero will next compete November 19th in a local show in Yuma, Ariz. before moving on to make his Shine Fights debut.
