“The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung and Rani Yahya have verbally committed to fight at the upcoming (and unconfirmed) UFC Fight Night 23 event. While the card is not announced yet, “UFC Fight Night 23: UFC Fight for the Troops 2” is rumored to take place Jan. 22 at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas.
The matchup was first revealed on Portal do Vale Tudo Radio and sources close to the event told MMA Junkie that verbal agreements are in place, and bout agreements will be finalized shortly.
