Tom Brevoort’s Advice To New Comic Writers via Twitter

I know a lot of you out there think Twitter is an asinine waste of time, but ever since I started switching up who I follow, I’ve found it to be a wealth of information. Just following Gail Simone and Warren Ellis is enough to keep me occupied for hours, but I recommend following a whole wealth of people in the industry. Take Tom Brevoort, Marvel Executive Editor/VP. Early last night, Brevoort began to drop science on all the wannabe comic book writers out there.

How’s that for an asinine waste of time? Interested in following some of your industry favorites on Twitter? Start with these fine folks:

Grant Morrison
Scott McCloud
Paul Cornell
Bryan Hitch
Greg Rucka
Gail Simone
Joe Hill
Ed Brubaker
Stephen Wacker
Rick Remender
Jonathan Hickman
Stan Lee
Jim Lee
Jimmy Palmiotti
Matt Fraction
Warren Ellis
Neil Gaiman

And last but not least, Tom Brevoort

Oh, and if you want you could follow Nexus’ fantastic editor and columnist,Grey Scherl. I’ve got a twitter too but I wouldn’t recommend it. The things I tweet are mostly mental backwash unfit for human interpretation.
