Zab Judah won a split decision over Lucas Matthysse in Newark, NJ. Judah was control for most of the fight until Matthysse put Judah to the canvas in the 10th. Judah was in survival mode for the final two rounds. Scores were 114-113 and 115-112 for Judah while one judge gave the fight to Matthysse 114-113.
On the undercard, Robert Guerrero defeated Vicente Escobedo by unanimous decision. Guerrero knocked Escobedo down in the third round as well as the sixth round. Scores were 100-88, 98-90, and 96-92.
