Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced today the DVD and Blu-ray release date of Easy A. The comedy, a modest hit when it was released in theaters in October, will be available in stores four days before Christmas on December 21. One of my favorite comedies of 2010, the film is a strange combination of John Hughes and The Scarlet Letter. Starring Emma Stone, Stanley Tucci, Patricia Clarkson, Amanda Bynes, Malcolm McDowell, Thomas Haden Church, and Lisa Kudrow, the movie got a great response from critics and viewers. For those that didn’t see it in theaters, it can now be the last second Christmas gift that doesn’t feel like a last second Christmas gift.
