Floyd Mayweather Jr. had a hearing scheduled this morning in a Las Vegas court, stemming from allegations that he hit his ex-girlfriend, threatened their children, and stole her phone. A total of eight charges were filed. Mayweather’s attendance at the hearing was not mandatory and the 33-year-old opted to bypass it.

From today’s hearing, Mayweather was ordered to stay away from both his ex-girlfriend and their two sons. He has one week to pay $31,000 in bail and is next scheduled to appear in court on January 24. Mayweather Jr. faces a maximum of 34 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
