UFC has added a lightweight bout between Waylon Lowe (9-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and UFC first-timer Willamy “Chiquerim” Freire (17-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) to January’s “UFC Fight Night 23: UFC Fight for the Troops 2” event.
A source close to the event today confirmed the booking with MMAjunkie.com on Monday.
Although not officially announced, UFC Fight Night 23 is expected to take Jan. 22 in conjunction with Fort Hood in Texas.
