Straczynski Off Of Superman And Wonder Woman For Superman Earth One Sequel

News

As quickly as his high profile runs on two of DC’s biggest names began, that’s how quickly they both end. JMS has been tapped by DC to write a sequel to his Superman Earth One graphic novel, and to free up the time to do so, he has dropped both Superman and Wonder Woman from his staple of titles that he currently writes.

It’s being reported that iZombie writer Chris Roberson will be taking over on Superman, while Firebreather co-creator (and former Green Arrow artists) Phil Hester will be taking over Wonder Woman. Both are reportedly working off of story notes left behind by JMS, but who knows? Maybe the Vertigo shot in the arm Superman is about to receive will lead to some amazing things with the most iconic character in comics.

Artist Shane Davis is also set to return for the Earth One sequel.
