According to reports from the event, UFC middleweights Jorge Rivera and Alessio Sakara will not fight at UFC 122.

MMAjunkie.com reported earlier today from sources close to the event that just hours before his fight, “Legionarius” was suffering from flu-like symptoms and has been forced to withdraw .

UFC officials have since confirmed the late change and removed the bout from the event’s official site.

UFC 122 will be headlined by a 185-pound contenders fight between Nate Marquardt and Yushin Okami and takes place Saturday at Konig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. With the late change to the event, UFC officials have promoted a welterweight bout between Duane “Bang” Ludwig and Nick Osipczak to the evening’s main card.
