Grey’s take: Hawkeye is losing an eye, that’s the status quo change. And yes, I am basing this entirely on the fact that he only has one eye open in the cover image. I mean, you’re making his greatest skill a terrible curse, which means that while he’s the best archer in the world something has happened to make it more dangerous. Couple it with the telling name of the mini series, “Blindspot”, and you have a decent case that Clint Barton is going to be more like his nemesis Crossfire. Only if you look at that image, yep, definitely gotta be the eye. Crossfire is missing his left eye, and uses a cyber eye replacement. Clint looks to be losing his right eye, and along with it, depth perception.
But hey, if Leela can fly a spaceship, he can probably still fire a bow.
