And with one trailer, Your Highness jumps to my most anticipated of 2011 list.
Directed by David Gordon Green, the film stars James Franco, Danny McBride, Natalie Portman and Zooey Deschanel. Thadeous (McBride) is a lazy prince who is forced to accompany his brother Fabious (Franco) on a quest to save Fabious’ girlfriend. Along the way, they are accompanied by a warrior princess played by Portman.
McBride may be a one-note actor but I really dig his one note. Combining his trademark jackass style of humor with the setting of a Frank Frazetta painting is a sure-fire recipe for genius in my book. But don’t take my word for it. Check out this red-band trailer:
