Dustin Poirier Replaces Jose Aldo Against Josh Grispi at UFC 125

With new UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo forced to withdraw from January’s “UFC 125: Resolution” event, Dustin Poirier (8-1 MMA, 1-1 WEC) will now face Josh Grispi (14-1 MMA, 4-0 WEC).

Now that newly minted UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo has withdrawn from “UFC 125: Resolution” due to injury, Dustin Poirier will be replacing Aldo in his fight with Josh Grispi with number one contention on the line.

The main event features a UFC Lightweight title bout between current champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard. “UFC 125: Resolution” takes place Jan. 1 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
