More bad news for this Saturday’s troubled Strikeforce Showtime show, fresh off the news that crossover star Herschel Walker has had to withdraw due to injury now the promotion has had to postpone Valentijn Overeem’s debut due to the elder brother of heavyweight champion Alistair withdrewing with an elbow injury. Overeem had been due to face Antonio ‘Big Foot’ Silva, and to keep the highly rated heavyweight on the card Strikeforce have arranged for Mike Kyle to face Silva at short notice. Kyle has not featured on a main Strikeforce card since losing to Fabricio Werdum in August 2009, instead fighting on Strikeforce Challengers and smaller promotions.
