After numerous delays, hangups, and withdrawals, the Super Six World Boxing Classic has finally concluded its Group Stage. The top four boxers advance to the knockout stage and the fights matchup like so:
(1) Andre Ward vs. (4) Arthur Abraham
(2) Carl Froch vs. (3) Glen Johnson
Glen Johnson finished with the same amount of points as Arthur Abraham but got the nod in the seedings due to a scorecard tiebreaker.
I don’t really care why Johnson got the nod. I’m just happy I won’t have to see Froch-Abraham II. What a disappointment. For highlights of that fight as well as Andre Ward vs. Sakio Bika, check out the video below:
