Marcos Maidana will challenge Amir Khan for his light welterweight title in a fight that will be televised by HBO starting at 9:30 pm ET. The undercard will feature Victor Ortiz vs. Lamont Peterson. Scheduled for the non-televised undercard, Joan Guzman once again came in overweight. This time he came in at 144.5 for a fight with a maximum weight of 141. His opponent, Jason Davis, also came in overweight. The fight will go on as planned with neither man forced to lose any more weight. Joan Guzman should have his license revoked.
