Tomasz Adamek remained undefeated as a heavyweight by taking out Vinny Maddalone (33-7, 24 KOs) in the fifth round at The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Adamek used his speed advantage to land at will on Maddalone which led to a knockdown in the fifth. Maddalone got to his feet but his corner soon stopped the fight as their charge had no answer for the onslaught of Adamek.
Tomasz Adamek improved to 43-1, 28 KOs with the win.
