EA Sports confirmed that they are brining back the SSX franchise for this generation of hardware. The new game, titled SSX: Deadly Descents, was revealed to have the characters put in the extreme conditions of ‘every’ mountain range around the world, with the CGI trailer taking place on Mt. Everest. Although it bares the SSX name, it looks like the game is taking a more realistic approach. The game is reportedly being developed by EA Canada, the same team behind the Skate franchise.
There has been no timetable for the release of SSX: Deadly Descents, but one can imagine fall of 2011 is a good bet.
