Tito Ortiz To Make Return To Spike TV Against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira

News

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and Pay Per View King Tito Ortiz may very well step into the Octagon for the last time when he faces Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in March. However whereas the fight was expectated to take place as a featured match on that month’s UFC 128 PPV event it now looks like Ortiz and Nogueira will instead headline March 26th’s Ultimate Fight Night 24.While a venue has not yet been announced for the event, it is scheduled to be the organization’s Washington debut with Seattle’s 17,000-seat KeyArena a possible venue.

This will be Ortiz’s first fight on Spike TV since he set record ratings in his third and final match against Ken Shamrock in 2006. That was also the last time he won a fight, with Ortiz having lost his past three fights. Should he lose again, then there’s a real chance that he’ll finally leave the organization for good.
