Alright, let’s break these down. There’s a force that usurps the power of the rings, which could be tied either to Krona and his capturing of the Entities, or to Guy Gardner’s quest into the uncharted sectors to discover why the rings aren’t charging to full. The fact that the surviving GL’s are all from Earth doesn’t shock me in the least bit, but Sinestro’s inclusion makes me wonder if he for some reason will have acquired a GL ring between now and March…..nah, he’s yellow and awesome. We still have a few months, which will be nice as we need some actual excuse for conflict between the Earth GL’s, and Guy Gardner making a secret pact isn’t enough yet.

Kyle vs John should be all kinds of awesome, though out of any combination it’s the one I have the hardest time buying into. See, when Kyle was the only GL, John was his best buddy. John gave him guidance and advice, and when Kyle left Earth John became his backup GL (which is where his ring came from this time around). These two were close as it gets prior to Rebirth, and I can’t imagine what it would take to get these two level headed guys to come to blows with each other.

Hal vs Guy, on the other hand, I’m amazed didn’t happen sooner. I mean, yes, it’s the big promise of War of the Green Lanterns, but these two are famous for hating each other. Has it really been five years without either punching the other out?

It’s a great time to be a Lantern fan, anyone agree?
