NCIS – Episode 8-13 Review

Reviews, Shows

“Freedom” misses out on an opportunity to explore Ziva’s character and her experience in Somalia. I know NCIS likes to pass over the fallout of major events, but since it is brought up this week, why couldn’t Ziva have elaborated? Aside from that, the main plot is decent, with everyone helping and good twists.

Not only was the McGee credit card plot a repeat, it also ended with everyone friendly with the neighbor even though McGee still had to bear the costs. For a show which revolves around justice–even punishment outside the law–the kid who broke several laws doesn’t get a slap on his wrist. Maybe it would be funny if the kid only bought small items, which could still be sexual in nature, but the huge price tag suggests something more malicious or, at the very least, someone who needs serious disciplining.

Score: 8.3/10
