Back during 52 and the early days of the Booster Gold ongoing, something that fans loved was the blackboard entries of Rip Hunter. Hints towards future events with very little to go on save for the few words each clue received. It’s been a little while since we’ve seen one, but now with the Vanishing Point mini wrapped up, Booster and Rip have returned home to see that not only is the blackboard loaded with clues to the future….but that Rip doesn’t know who wrote them.
But what do these clues mean? One could assume, especially given the “Continued in” at the bottom corner, that there are a lot of Flashpoint teasers here….but wouldn’t that just be the perfect diversion to keep us from wondering which are going to effect the mainstream DC continuity? I mean, “The Heroine of Gem World returns!” tells me that Amethyst is coming back, which I would imagine is a Teen Titans thing. “God Bless the Cyborg” on the other hand is making me think that maybe Cyborg Superman is going to turn the tables against Doomsday in Reign of Doomsday.
