Inside Fights was live at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ yesterday for “Strikeforce and M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Silva” fighter weigh-ins. All the heavyweight fighters that will be competing in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix were able to make weight with no issues.

This event features the first quarterfinal bouts of the organization’s heavyweight tournament and tonight’s card features two of the first round matches as well as a handful of tournament reserve bouts as well.

In tournament news, Fedor Emelianenko hit the scale and made weight at 230 lbs. while his opponent, the massive Antonio Silva, came in at 264 lbs.

Also in Grand Prix action, Andrei Arlovski (former UFC Heavyweight champion) weighed in at 242 pounds, with his opponent, Sergei Kharitonov weighing in at 252 pounds. Both fights will make for a great opening round of action in the heavyweight division.
