After a whole week of speculation, WWE revealed last night on Raw that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been picked as the special guest host for WrestleMania XXVII on April 3 in Atlanta.
Other rumored names included Justin Bieber and Bob Barker, among others.
The Rock cut a 20 minute promo to end the show, including a long burial of John Cena that made some of the kids boo, but an overall incredible pop. We’ll have much more on Raw and Wrestlemania tonight and all week long.
In fact, as Raw – which ended live around 11:20 ET – went off the air, Josh Mathews promised that The Rock would be on WWE.com for a live chat.
