Match List and Details for WWE True Story of Wrestlemania DVD

For twenty-six years, WrestleMania has been World Wrestling Entertainment’s own version of the Super Bowl. Originating at Madison Square Garden in 1984, the event has grown each year and has fascinated millions worldwide as one of the biggest entertainment spectacles going today. Setting attendance and box office records, WrestleMania has attracted such celebrities as Donald Trump (his Trump Plaza Hotel hosted WrestleMania IV and V) and he helped to shave Vince McMahon’s hair at WrestleMania 23. Actors like Burt Reynolds and Mr. T, and athletes like Muhammad Ali, Lawrence Taylor, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather have also participated in the event in some capacity.

As the “showcase for the immortals” the show has been the venue of such legendary encounters. Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant, Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker, The Rock vs. Steve Austin (specifically their encounter at WrestleMania X-7, an event that signaled the Attitude era at its pinnacle but also its conclusion), and more.

Arriving on DVD and Blu-ray on March 15, 2011, the body of the feature is a two-hour documentary chronicling the event from its origins to its magnetic rise over the years. Both releases will also include eleven bonus matches (plus four more if you get the Blu-ray release). Full details can be found below.
