Friday Night Smackdown WILL SURPASS LASSIE IN TOTAL WEEKLY EPISODES — THIRD MOST IN TV HISTORY — WHEN 600TH TELECAST AIRS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18 ON SYFY

Syfy and WWE Celebrate with 12 Man Tag Team Match at 8PM (ET/PT)

NEW YORK – February 16, 2011 – After more than a decade on television, Friday Night Smackdown will reach its milestone 600th episode this Friday, February 18, at 8 PM (ET/PT) on Syfy, moving past Lassie into third place for the most weekly episodic programs in TV history.SmackDown also has aired more total episodes than iconic television shows such as The Simpsons, Married With Children and Law & Order.

For the first time ever on SmackDown, a 12 man tag team main event combining Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDownSuperstars, will make the 600th episode an historic night.

The main event will feature WWE Superstars:

– John Cena – CM Punk
– Rey Mysterio – Sheamus

– R-Truth VS. – Drew McIntyre

– Edge – Dolph Ziggler
– John Morrison – Wade Barrett

– Randy Orton – Kane

Friday Night Smackdown debuted on August 26, 1999 and has been watched more than 2.7 billion times by viewers in the U.S. It is seen in 79 countries internationally and airs in 22 languages.
