WWE Monday Night Raw Live Notes from 2/22/11 on the Pops for Triple H and Undertaker, More

News

From John Cumberland and the Wrestling Observer:

“RAW
– Taker’s pop was huge even though earlier when people were getting in they showed his logo on the Tron’s LED fixtures. Plus his light-up logo was there visible the whole night.
– HHH’s pop was even bigger. And that whole segment felt special in the building. Dying to see how it came across on TV.
– Crowd was good the whole night but were a little down for the Mark Henry match since it came after Taker/HHH.
– Cole was hated and King loved.
– Unfortunately I think a lot of people thought Rock would be here tonight.

Dark Match Main Event
– Miz/Punk vs Cena/Orton with Cole as guest ref. Very simple match that ended with King chasing Cole away and taking the ref shirt. Orton and Cena then hit their moves and got a double pin with King making the count.
– It’s funny how many people don’t know what a dark match is, many thought we were still on TV. That only confused some.”
