Showtime and M-1 Global announced today that their upcoming event M-1 Challenge: Damkovsky vs. Figueroa will be broadcast live on Showtime Friday March 25th at 11pm EST. The card we see two title bouts as Lightweight title holder Artiom Damkovsky will defend against Jose Figueroa and Magomed Sultanakhmedov will battle Tyson Jeffries for the vacant Middleweight title. Also to be featured is a lightweight bout between Alexander Sarnavskiy and Josh Bacallao, and, in light heavyweight action, Vinny Magalhaes will take on a opponent who has yet to be named.
The event will be called by Mauro Ranallo and Pat Miletich, both veterans of MMA and Showtime thanks to their ongoing work with Strikeforce, and will emanate from Norfolk, Virginia.
