Gegard Mousasi vs. Roger Gracie at April 9th Strikeforce?

News

The Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix’ status might be up in the air and there might be issues with the April 9 Strikeforce fight card, but fighters are being contacted about appearing at the event.

In the latest fight news, former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champion, Gegard Mousasi and Roger Gracie are in talks to face off at the show. This would be Mousasi’s first bout in Strikeforce since his title defeat by Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal in April 2010. He has won two fights in Dream and a K-1 fight since that time. Gracie is currently 4-0, having picked up a win over Trevor Prangley in Strikeforce in January.

According to sources, both fighters have verbally agreed to the bout.
