Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair To Screen in March

News, Rumors

For years we’ve been told that “The Whole Bloody Affair” is coming. When it was first rumored the Kill Bill fans were ecstatic. But days became weeks, and weeks became months. It finally got to the point where its actualization became more of a pipe dream. And yet here we are again with news that Quentin Tarantino is finally ready to unveil Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair.

The news comes from The Playlist (via AICN) after Ain’t It Cool News noticed that “The Whole Bloody Affair” was going to be programmed at the New Beverly for five consecutive nights (March 27-31). Though the runtime, 247 minutes, matches the combined lengths of Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, the schedule insists that this is “the unrated combined version which has never been seen theatrically in the U.S.” Details are still sketchy at this point.

What is interesting is that during the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin (March 11-19), Ain’t It Cool News will have a secret screening of a film during the event in lieu of the website’s fifteenth anniversary. It could be something new (Your Highness, Thor), something old, or it may in fact be “The Whole Bloody Affair”.

We’ll be at SXSW to give you all the details.
